ESL expands partnership with ASUS ROG
Tournament operator ESL announced the expansion of a partnership agreement with gaming equipment manufacturer ASUS and its Republic of Gamers brand. As part of the updated deal, the company will become the exclusive partner of the group stage and the playoff stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.
It is reported that the expansion of the partnership agreement was the result of a series of successful joint actions of the companies during the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference and the ESL Challenger, which took place in Valencia.
Bastian Weiser, Director of Partner Management at ESL Gaming: "The ESL Pro League is the biggest CS:GO league in the world, and it's even bigger with this partnership. EPL, opening the way to the top, offers teams an open ecosystem with the opportunity to progress and eventually play on the biggest stages in the world.Expanding our partnership to also cover the group stage and playoffs means they join the teams and us all the way as we continue to write the history of the legends."
ASUS ROG will continue to make appearances in a number of streaming segments during ESL Pro League Season 16 matches, and will also have a brand presence at in-person events.
Galip Fu, Head of Global Marketing for Consumer and Gaming Notebooks at ASUS: "We are proud to announce that after the successful launch of our partnership, ROG is not only continuing but also expanding our partnership with ESL Gaming. ROG has always strived to create top-tier systems for support for gamers from all walks of life, and what better example of that faith than writing history in one of the biggest gaming venues in the world? We can't wait to see what the future holds for ROG and ESL."
ASUS ROG continues to stick with ESL Gaming's ever-growing list of partners. This year alone, the tournament operator teamed up with the likes of Spotify, Lenovo Legion and Nielsen. As a result, ASUS becomes the latest partner of ESL Pro League Season 16, joining the likes of Intel, bookmaker 1xBet, and energy drink brand Monster Energy.
