BLAST Premier partners with DAZN on media rights

Tournament operator BLAST Premier announced the conclusion of a partnership agreement in the field of media rights with the DAZN service. As part of the deal, the service will broadcast the upcoming BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, which will take place in Lisbon, as well as the remaining BLAST Premier championships in 2022.

The championship series will be available in over 100 countries including Japan, the US and the UK. The collaboration with DAZN is the second media rights deal for BLAST Premier in 2022. Previously, the tournament operator entered into 35 such agreements at once, developing live broadcasts on Twitch and YouTube.

As part of the championship, the eight best teams of the spring season from Europe and North America will compete for a prize pool of $425,000, rating points for the BLAST Premier table, and a ticket to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022.
