SCUF Gaming Expands OpTic Gaming and Envy Gaming Partnership
The controller brand SCUF Gaming has expanded its existing partnership with North American esports organizations OpTic Gaming and Envy Gaming. The six-figure sponsorship deal reportedly includes the SCUF Gaming logo on the jerseys of OpTic Gaming's Halo, OpTic Texas, and Envy's Rocket League rosters.
Diego Nunez, Vice President of Marketing, SCUF Parent Company CORSAIR: "As a founding partner for the OpTic Gaming and Envy Gaming brands, we are delighted to see this long-standing relationship flourish and grow. It has been exciting to watch these brands grow over the years, and we can't wait to continue this journey together, working side by side to provide gamers with access to the best professional gaming hardware on the market."
In addition, SCUF Gaming becomes the official controller partner of OpTic Texas, as well as the OpTic Gaming and Envy brands. The new deal also gives SCUF Gaming the first right of opt-out as an official partner for any esports teams the organizations may add in the future.
Recall that in November last year, OpTic Gaming and Envy Gaming announced a merger, as a result of which both organizations began to work under a common brand.
