North American esports organization OpTic Gaming has announced a partnership with nutrition company Dairy MAX. As part of the deal, the club will reportedly promote content about the benefits of a balanced diet using dairy products through social media.
The events hosted by OpTic Gaming, along with other training events, will also feature activations in conjunction with Dairy MAX.
Erin Schendle, Senior Vice President of Sales & Partnerships at OpTic Gaming: "Starting partnering with Dairy MAX is a fantastic way to highlight the importance we place on the health of our professional gamers and we look forward to engaging with the community to bring the message of nutrition to our attention." and the value of healthy dairy products in conversations about games."
This isn't even Dairy MAX's first foray into the esports industry, having partnered with Complexity Gaming last year.
Mike Konkle, Dairy MAX CEO: "We know that 96% of Gen Zers in the US play video games, we need to meet them where they are."
While this sort of partnership seems uncommon in esports , this is not the only dairy-based activation that is happening in the industry. In May, the North American organization Version1 announced Dairy Undeniably Dairy as their team's Rocket League discipline partner.
