G2 Esports Expands Partnership Agreement With Lenovo Legion
European esports organization G2 Esports has expanded its existing partnership agreement with the Lenovo Legion brand. As part of the renewed deal, the brand will remain a supplier of personal computers and laptops to the organization, along with support for its G2 Gozen women's VALORANT team.
Ocelote, Founder and CEO of G2 Esports: “I am proud of what our Gozen team has accomplished in three months. Their dedication and killer mentality make them as fun to watch as they are challenging to play. Ensuring they have the best the equipment to achieve this level of success is our responsibility, therefore Lenovo's involvement in the future of this team is imperative for us. ”
Through the expansion, Lenovo Legion now supplies equipment to the organization's League of Legends, Rocket League, Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege and car sim teams, and G2 Gozen. A series of "digital and physical activations" between the parties are expected to be slated for 2022.
Alberto Spinelli, Director of Marketing and Communications, Lenovo EMEA: "It is natural to expand this partnership between Lenovo Legion and G2 Esports. Both brands are synonymous with high performance, and together we can ensure that all G2 esports teams stay on top."
G2 Esports has a total of 20 partners, including BMW, Red Bull and Logitech G. In November, the organization announced an expansion of its sales territory to include China, allowing consumers in the region to purchase products through local marketplaces.
