Virtus.pro has retired its current roster

As much as it hurts for Virtus.pro fans, the team has just not performed the way that they used to. The strong team that was once known and feared as Virtus.pro, a top-finisher at The Internationals 2015 hasn't shown up since the key roster changes back in March. As the results showed over time, the team has then plummeted and occured many defeats, to the dismay of the team's owners.

The team itself, however, isn't going away. Virtus.pro is a professional gaming organization. They have revealed to have plans for a new and improved roster that'll be announced at their discretion. A major problem that was seen with the team was their constant role-swapping that resulted to many undesirable results. Nevertheless, the last straw was when they did really poorly with a 6th place finish at The Internationals 2016 Qualifiers, which led them being ineligible to join the TI6 18 Teams.

The team that's been placing highly in most matches that they're in is just underperfoming, hence this had to happen sooner or later. However, the VP of the organization reportedly said that the former players of Virtus.pro is welcome to be part of their roster once again in the future.

As a result of this, Virtus.pro has stepped down out of the Global Grand Masters, being replaced halfway of the tournament.

Old Roster of Virtus.pro:

  • ALOHADANCE
  • G
  • yoky
  • fng (Captain)
  • NoFear
