ESL has invited Virtus.pro to participate in the closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22 in Eastern Europe for Dota 2. The team announced this on their social media.
A representative from Virtus.pro mentioned that the team will play its first matches in the qualifiers on the evening of January 13, facing off against 9Pandas. The schedule of matches has not been published by the organizers yet.
According to information on Liquipedia, invitations will also be extended to four more teams, and their names will be announced later. 9Pandas and Nemiga Gaming have successfully advanced through the first stage of open qualifiers, with the second stage concluding on January 12.
The closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22 Eastern Europe will take place online from January 13 to 17. During the tournament, three slots for the group stage will be contested, with a total prize pool of one million dollars.
