Virtus.pro signed a new carry after Koma`s ban
Esports organization Virtus.pro has unveiled its new carry to replace the recently banned Koma`. The new first position of the club is krylat, who until recently played for Team Empire Hope.
The current situation was a complete surprise and stress for the team. However, as soon as possible, we began testing potential replacement candidates and resolved this issue in two days.
Today krylat becomes the new carry of Virtus.pro. We considered three candidates, played test games with two of them and chose Sasha. He is a player in the right position, with experience in the top division of the DPC, who, moreover, was a free agent during this period.
I have no doubt that joining VP for Sasha is an opportunity that he will use 100%. We still have a lot of work to do and an interesting season, preparations for which are going on daily. Separately, I would like to thank Valve for the fact that the company went to meet us halfway and made it possible to make an emergency replacement.
Now more than ever we need the support of our fans.
krylat spent the last two seasons with PuckChamp, with whom he managed to win ESL One CIS Online Season 1: Lower Division and EPIC League Season 3 Division 2, and also made it to the TOP-3 at Snow Sweet Snow #2 and DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I. However, in recent months, the 25-year-old carry has been playing for Team Empire Hope, where he won Winline Insight Season 2.
In turn, Koma` managed to play for Virtus.pro as part of Dota 2 Champions League Season 17, but was recently banned by Valve for transferring his account to third parties/using someone else's account.
The debut of krylat for the new team will take place as part of the BetBoom Xmas Show playoffs, where Virtus.pro will meet PuckChamp. Then the team will start preparing for the start of DPC EEU 2023 Tour 1: Division I.
