Virtus.pro updated the Dota 2 roster

Representatives of Virtus.pro pleased the club's fans with new news about the Dota 2 roster. Kamil 'Koma'' Biktimirov, Ilya 'squad1x' Kuvaldin, Evgeny 'Noticed' Ignatenko, Oleg 'sayuw' Kalenbet and Andrey 'Dukalis' Kuropatkin will now play under the banner of VP. The debut of the roster will take place as part of the professional Dota 2 league, Dota Pro Circuit. The team will play in the first division of the DPC winter tour 2022/2023, and the matches will start on January 9th.

The signing of a new Dota 2 roster was commented by Alexander 'StrangeR' Solomonov, who holds the position of Head of Dota 2 at Virtus.pro:

Today we open the next chapter in the history of Virtus.pro's Dota 2 direction. Here is a completely new composition, which we have carefully selected and tested over the past month.
It doesn't have the big names we're all used to. The bet is made on players who are ready to give 100% for the best results, constantly grow and develop, listen and support each other. Surprisingly, the synergy in this roster emerged from the very first test games.
In the team, as yet little known core players are combined with more experienced teammates, which has always served as the basis for future success. Please give the guys time and provide maximum support.

Together with the arrival of the five esportsmen, Danil 'gpk~' Skutin and Dmitry 'DM' Dorokhin, who previously played in VP in the second and third positions, respectively, were put on the bench. Thus, they joined the ranks of the reserve, which already includes Save- and Illias. Gpk~ and DM have been playing under the Virtus.pro tag since November 2020 and have managed to play in many tournaments in two years. The list of such tournaments also included The International 2021, where the players took 5th-6th place and earned $1,400,600 per team.
