Dota 2 Sees Significant Player Increase in April 2024, Surpassing 450,000 Average Online Users
According to data from Steam Charts, the average monthly player count for Dota 2 saw an increase of approximately 6.5% in April 2024, rising above 450,000 players once again.

Additionally, the game experienced a notable boost in its peak player count, climbing from 729,000 to 921,000 players. This surge is noteworthy, though it still falls short of Dota 2's all-time high of nearly 1.3 million players recorded in March 2016.
In a recent update titled "Fallen Crown," the developers added a new narrative event featuring the characters Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, along with new Arcanas for these heroes, enriching the game's content and likely contributing to the increase in player numbers.
