North will not participate in ESL Pro League #5

The Danish team North lost the right to participate in ESL Pro League Season 5. It happened because the team moved from Team Dignitas to FC «Copenhagen».

According the rules of ESL, the slot for the event belongs not to the players, but to the organization.

Players from North have a chance to participate in ESL Pro League Season 5 only if Team Dignitas decide not to join the tournament. In this way, they can just give this slot to the players from North.

Team Dignitas received a slot for participation in ESL Pro League Season 5 after joining top 11 teams of the previous ESL Pro League season. After that, Team Dignitas players left the organization and moved to FC «Copenhagen», playing under North tag.

This has happened before on ESL Pro League Season 5. The same situation happened to Misfits, who left Team SoloMid. The management of Team SoloMid decided not to accept the invitation to ESL Pro League 5 so that the previous roster could participate the event. Thus, Team SoloMid gave the right to Misfits to participate in the fifth season of ESL Pro League.
