mousesports signed suNny
According to rumors that were spread after the end of PGL Major Krakow 2017, Miikka «suNny» Kemppi had joined mousesports.
The German eSports organization has informed about this news on its official website today. Miikka Kemppi has become a replacement for the recently gone Spanish player, Christian «loWel» Garcia Antoran.
After the disappointing results at ESL One Cologne 2017 and PGL Major Krakow 2017, where mousesports had not come out from a group stage, the management of the organization has decided to make changes on the roster.
A comment of the CGO of mousesports, Stefan Wendt:
«We had an eye on suNny for a while now and he proved his caliber with some amazing performances at the Major. From our very first talk with Miikka I was impressed with his hunger for success and his passion for the game. I feel this is something our team has been missing. I am confident he will take the next step here at mousesports and prove to be a great addition to the team.»
The Miika «suNny» Kemppi’s comment:
«I want to play for trophies with this team and I will do whatever I can to accomplish that. We are looking for consistent success, that is the most important goal now. We can only do it with hard work and time but with group of players here at mousesports and organization backing us, I am really confident that this team can go far together.»
Also, the situation has been commented by one of PENTA Sports players that had been left by Miika Kemppi, Paweł «innocent» Mocek:
«About the team, I can promise we won’t let that transfer to destroy the team and will be even better than before, hopefully.»
The player will debut on the renewed roster at the match at DreamHack Masters Malmö at the end of this month.
