TSM Sign 17-Year-Old William "sirah" Kjærsgaard from MOUZ NXT
TSM have officially announced the signing of William "sirah" Kjærsgaard from MOUZ NXT, with the 17-year-old taking Alexander "Altekz" Givskov's spot in the starting roster.
Sirah has already made his debut for TSM, standing in for Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså in an Elisa Invitational Fall match against Sashi on Thursday. Unfortunately, TSM suffered a 0-2 defeat in that series, losing 11-13 on Inferno and 1-13 on Nuke.
The young Danish player is the latest graduate from the MOUZ NXT project, which has produced several talents for top-tier teams. Four of the current MOUZ main lineup players began their journey with the organization on the NXT roster. Other recent graduates include Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard and Bram "Nexius" Campana, who joined OG in the past few months.
Sirah joins a TSM squad that has struggled to find consistent success since the organization re-entered the CSscene in late 2023. Over the past year, TSM has cycled through 16 different coaches and players, searching for the right formula.
After trying various international lineups, TSM shifted towards a Danish core in July 2024, a move that has brought some much-needed stability and improvement. The current lineup, which includes Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand, Altekz, and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen, has seen more success in tier-two online competitions. They have secured victories in events like the European Pro League 2nd Division and the Skin.Club Summer Cup. This progress led to TSM reaching No. 39 in the world rankings, their highest position since returning to competitive CS. They also qualified for the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR.
Altekz leaves the team after a brief two-month stint, having been the second-lowest-rated player on the roster behind niko, with a 1.07 rating across 113 maps.
