First pairs of ESL One Cologne 2017 were announced

ESL has informed about new details of the new upcoming tournament in Cologne. Pairs of the first matches are known now.

ESL One Cologne 2017 starts on July 4 and will last until July 9. Lanxess Arena will be the venue. 16 teams will divide among each other the prize pool in the sum of $250,000.

The tournament starts from the group stage, which will be hosted in a Swiss system with 5 rounds. During the group stage, 8 best teams will be determined, which will pass to the playoff stage with a Single Elimination bracket. All matches, except the Grand Final, will be played in a Bo3 format. The Grand Final will be run in a Bo5 format.
