Astralis signed a CS: GO player
The official Astralis website announced the signing of the sixth player of the CS: GO roster. 18-year-old esports athlete Philip 'Lucky' Ewald, who has represented the Tricked Esport banners since January 2020, has become part of the updated Astralis roster. Financial details of the deal were not made public.
Astralis' sporting director Kevin Hwidt said Lucky was on time. The reason for this is Lucas 'gla1ve' Rossander's plans to become a father soon, which obviously could negatively affect his ability to represent the squad on the professional stage. An additional factor in why Lucky can fit perfectly into the team is the direct involvement of the esports player in the use of sniper rifles. The public has long speculated that Astralis lacks a sniper after Nikolai 'device' Ridtz left for NiP. A former NAVI player, current commentator Arseniy 'ceh9' Trinozhenko recently spoke about this. If you missed this, then we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the material.
Also, the sports director of the esports organization noted the individual skills of the player, which, in his opinion, should allow Astralis to rebuild the game a little, and Philip 'Lucky' Ewald, with his actions, can create the space for his teammates, which they lacked.
In addition, there are rumors on the internet that Emil 'Magisk' Rafe, Peter 'dupreeh' Rasmussen and Andreas 'Xyp9x' Hoislet may be leaving the squad. Some insiders are confident that the incoming ex-player Tricked Esport will replace dupreeh on the roster. The Danish club has not yet commented on this information and, with the exception of the arrival of Lucky and the re-signing of the contract with Lucas 'gla1ve' Rossander, did not inform the public about any reshuffle in the roster.
