The MAESTRO mix players have signed contracts with a representative of the top Belgian football league. It is noteworthy that three out of five esports players are natives of Belgium, while the other two players are Poles.
The team will debut under the banner of Club Brugge Esports on February 11 as part of the Elite Series Season 1. Its prize pool will be € 15,000.
FC Brugge is far from the first football club to enter the CS: GO field. In January, Boca Juniors signed the Argentine roster, and in 2017, the North roster was formed as a result of the collaboration between Nordisk Film and Danish football club Copenhagen.
