Smooya has found a new club where he will continue his career
Movistar Riders have signed a contract with former BIG player Owen 'smooya' Butterfield, as she revealed on her Twitter account.
On the team, he will replace the recently departed Sebastian 'larsen' Larsen. Last summer, smooya reported that Movistar Riders, like Sprout and TIGER, offered an esports player to join their club, but the negotiations remained just negotiations and never ended with any cooperation.
In January, Owen Butterfield began his test period at Movistar Riders. Together with the latter, he managed to win the OMEN WGR European Challenge and the team received the main cash prize of $ 10,000.
Smooya's career began in March 2016. Over 5 years of his career, the player has earned over $ 90,000. During his career, he managed to perform under the tag of such clubs as Chaos Esports Club, C0ntact Gaming, Epsilon Esports, Team Endpoint and of course BIG and other clubs. As part of the German team, smooya received the most recognition and performances were the most successful. It was with tabseN and other teammates that the Briton took second place at ESL One Cologne 2018.
