M80 sign JBa following HexT’s departure
North American organization M80 have announced the signing of Joshua “JBa” Barutt to their CS roster. The young American player replaces HexT, who recently parted ways with the team. The organization revealed the roster change via its official X (Twitter) account.
Prior to joining M80, JBa represented Wildcard from 2023 to 2025. During this period, the team competed in numerous regional and international tournaments and secured several titles, including CCT Season 2 North American Series #2, Frost and Fire Europe, and ESL Challenger League Season 50: North America – Cup #2.
Wildcard struggled to find consistent success at the tier-one level, with their best result being a 5th–6th place finish at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.
Individually, JBa enjoyed a strong year. Over the past 12 months, he played 172 maps, posting an average rating of 1.13, 76.5 ADR, and a 75% KAST.
The current M80 lineup is as follows:
- Swisher
- slaxz-
- s1n
- Lake
- JBa
- dephh (coach)
The updated roster will make its debut at ESL Pro League Season 23: Online Stage, scheduled to take place from February 27 to March 9.
