M80 Part Ways with HexT After Contract Expiry
North American organization M80 have officially announced the departure of Jadan “HexT” Postma, as the 24-year-old rifler’s contract has expired and will not be extended.
HexT joined M80 in July, replacing Ethan “reck” Serrano, and quickly became an important part of the lineup. During his time with the team, he played 122 maps with an average rating of 1.16, helping M80 achieve several strong results both internationally and in North America.
With the expiration of his contract we want to thank HexT for being a part of M80.Thank you for all your contributions, from BLAST London to the Budapest major, it was a hell of a run.
We wish you the best of luck in 2026!
Among the highlights were a 5–6th place finish at the BLAST Open London Finals and a run at the StarLadder Budapest Major, where M80 went 3–0 in Stage 1 before being eliminated in Stage 2 with a 2–3 record. The team also won DreamHack Knockout Atlanta, securing qualification for ESL Pro League Season 23, claimed victories in multiple North American online events, and finished as runners-up at Fragadelphia 19 and Fragadelphia Ultra Mega Jersey.
Despite this successful stretch, the roster change came as a surprise. HexT himself admitted he did not expect the decision:
Current M80 Roster
- 🇺🇸 Michael “Swisher” Schmid
- 🇩🇪 Fritz “slaxz-” Dietrich
- 🇩🇪 Elias “s1n” Stein
- 🇺🇸 Mason “Lake” Sanderson
- 🇬🇧 Rory “dephh” Jackson (coach)
M80 have not yet announced who will fill the vacant spot in the lineup or whether further roster changes are planned ahead of the upcoming season.
“Safe to say I was a little surprised when I was told I wouldn’t be rejoining them for next season, but nonetheless I loved playing with the guys and they were some of my favorite teammates to play with. I’m now a free agent,” HexT wrote on X.
