Snax Returns to GamerLegion: CS2 Legend Rejoins the European Organization
December 13, 2025 — European esports organization GamerLegion has officially announced the signing of Polish Counter-Strike legend Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski. The veteran player returns to the roster as the team’s new in-game leader (IGL) following his departure from G2 Esports.
The 32-year-old previously represented GamerLegion from September 2023 to July 2024, before moving to G2. This time, Snax is set to replace Erik “ztr” Gustafsson, who had been absent from the active lineup for some time.
Snax’s Career and Return to GamerLegion
Snax is widely regarded as one of the most iconic players in Counter-Strike history, a Major champion and a long-time presence among the world’s top-ranked players. During his first stint with GamerLegion, he played a key role in helping the team qualify for the PGL Major Copenhagen and achieve several notable results on the international stage.
After joining G2 Esports in 2024, Snax enjoyed a successful period, winning BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, as well as reaching the semifinals of the Perfect World Shanghai Major. He left G2’s main roster in the summer of 2025.
What This Means for GamerLegion
The return of an experienced IGL is expected to significantly strengthen GamerLegion’s strategic depth and bring greater stability ahead of the 2026 competitive season. Snax’s leadership, top-tier experience, and familiarity with the organization make him a major addition to the team.
Snax’s official debut with GamerLegion is expected after the winter break, with his first appearances likely coming at tournaments in mid-2026.
