dgt Joins paiN’s CS2 Lineup Ahead of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025

Franco "dgt" García has officially joined paiN Gaming, stepping in to replace Caue "kauez" Cashew, who was recently moved to the bench. This marks dgt’s first team transfer in over five years, following a long and impactful stint with 9z Team, where he played a pivotal role in elevating the squad to international prominence.

Having joined 9z in May 2019, dgt was instrumental in several key achievements, including victories at the FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023 and FiReLEAGUE 2021, a Top 4 finish at IEM Dallas 2024, and two Major qualifications. Despite his strong track record, he was benched in February 2025 after the team’s results dipped below expectations.

Statistically, dgt has outperformed kauez significantly over the last three months. Additionally, he brings familiarity and synergy to the roster, having previously played alongside dav1deuS and nqz during his time with 9z.

The revamped paiN roster is set to debut at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025, where they will face off against MOUZ in the opening round on April 30 at 12:30 CET. The tournament will be played on LAN, offering fans a first full look at the team’s chemistry and potential in a live setting.
