Aurora vs. Apogee – Playoff Bound 🎯

Aurora showed no mercy against Apogee, claiming a 2-0 victory (Mirage 13:6, Anubis 16:12). The MVP was wicadia, who stacked up 46 frags across the two maps, including a dominant 25-10 with 123 ADR on Mirage. Props also go to hfah from Apogee — despite the loss, his steady clutches earned him EVP honors. The match had its share of drama: hypex pulled off a nail-biting 1v2 clutch, surviving just milliseconds before an HE would have finished him off. But Aurora kept their cool, closed out the series, and moved forward with a 3-1 record. Apogee, now 2-2, still has one last shot at the playoffs.

FURIA vs. The MongolZ – Brazil’s Last Call

The Brazilian engine FURIA stalled at the worst possible moment, falling 0-2 (Mirage 9:13, Nuke 11:13) and exiting with a 1-3 record. Despite a valiant effort by yuurih (37-33, 102 ADR, EVP status), it wasn’t enough. Meanwhile, The MongolZ kept their hopes alive, balancing their score at 2-2. Special mention goes to blitZ, who went viral not for his gameplay but for his gigantic mousepad, which looked big enough to qualify for "Rug of the Year" 🏆.

Falcons vs. Rare Atom – The NiKo Show 🔥

It was quick, loud, and one-sided. Falcons made short work of Rare Atom, with NiKo leading the charge. He opened with a stunning pistol round quad kill, setting the tone early, and later pulled off a 1v3 clutch to secure matchpoint, setting Twitch chat on fire. Ironically, NiKo was the butt of memes just yesterday — and today, he’s the match hero. His return to form finally gives Falcons fans something to smile about. However, victory didn’t shield Falcons from internet trolling. Reddit is still roasting the star on their jersey — a badge earned for winning Free Fire at EWC 2024, not CS2 — now widely compared to a Gold Nova medal ⭐.

Complexity vs. FaZe – Memes Over Tears

Complexity are headed to the playoffs, and the internet is celebrating right alongside them. EliGE, who left Complexity to join FaZe earlier this year, ended up losing to his former squad. A storyline too good not to meme.

Astralis – Total Collapse 🚨

Things couldn’t get much worse for Astralis. Analyst justharry summed it up brutally:

"They have no hope. device looks like a lost old man who doesn’t know where he is or who he’s playing with. Even isolated highlights couldn’t mask the disaster" — Saadzin scored an ace against them on Nuke, and device’s face at that moment captured a whole new level of despair.

NAVI Tease s1mple’s Return?📞

At the end of NAVI’s EWC 2025 trailer, fans were stunned by a brief but powerful tease: an incoming call from s1mple popped up on screen. Social media exploded with theories — could NAVI be gearing up for a reunion? Eagle-eyed viewers also caught a reference to Inception, with the final scene showing a spinning bell, symbolizing the blurred line between dreams and reality. One thing’s clear: NAVI dropped a massive hint.
