PGL Announces Second Major of 2026 to Be Held in Singapore
PGL has officially revealed that it will host the second Counter-Strike Major of 2026 in Singapore. The event is scheduled for November 25–December 13 and will feature a $1,250,000 prize pool.
A total of 32 teams will compete across three stages, with the top contenders advancing to the playoffs. The final phase will take place at the 12,000-seat Singapore Indoor Stadium, where the tournament will conclude with a best-of-five grand final to determine the champion.
This announcement marks a historic moment for the region, as the 2026 Major will be the first-ever Counter-Strike Major held in Southeast Asia. After the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 broke new ground by bringing the event to Asia, PGL continues expanding the global footprint of top-tier Counter-Strike competition.
The Singapore Major will be PGL’s fifth time hosting the prestigious event, following PGL Krakow 2017, PGL Stockholm 2021, PGL Antwerp 2022, and PGL Copenhagen 2024. The organizer is also no stranger to Singapore, having previously hosted major Dota 2 events in the region, including The International 2022.
The 2026 Singapore Major is set to become one of the standout events of the season, bringing world-class Counter-Strike to a new and rapidly growing audience in Southeast Asia.
