According to dataminer information, the competitive mode in CS2 might undergo a change to a system consisting of twelve rounds
Fresh rumors about the competitive mode in CS2 have emerged on the internet. A dataminer known as Aquarius has shared information that they found hints in the game files suggesting that the competitive mode might be adapted to the MR12 system, meaning up to 13 rounds won.
Additionally, Valve is planning to do away with short matchmakings.
