The ESL organization has made the decision to fine the Astralis team a sum of $100,000
ESL has fined the Astralis team $100,000 for their actions in 2021 that caused a conflict of interest.
The tournament operator stated that from April to July 2021, Astralis received confidential information from an employee of a competing organization who held a managerial position. The press release does not disclose names, but it is likely referring to the collaboration with the former Heroic coach, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen.
In August 2021, HUNDEN was suspended from any coaching activities for two years. The reason behind this decision was his disclosure of confidential information about the Heroic organization to an Astralis staff member.
