matHEND steps down as HEET head coach

The Belgian esports organization HEET has announced the resignation of matHEND from his position as head coach of the CS:GO roster. The 28-year-old French specialist has led the team since the signing of the Double Poney team.

After much deliberation, matHEND informed us of his decision to step down as head coach. We would like to thank Mathieu for his fantastic work and the incredible journey he has taken with the team. Our doors will always be open to him. We wish you good luck in your future endeavors.

matHEND took over the roster of HEET early last year. Last season, the 28-year-old French specialist helped the team win Malta Vibes Knockout Series #5, ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe, Elisa Invitational Spring 2022 and ESL Championnat National: Autumn 2022, as well as get into the top three at Elisa Invitational Winter 2021, Fantasyexpo EU Champions: Spring 2022 and CCT North Europe Series #2.

In addition, together with the team, he took part in PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B and Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B, where both times he was close to taking HEET to the Major.

Concluding my adventure with HEET, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who participated in this project and believed in me. This journey has been an emotional adventure with many ups and downs. Despite all this, I do not regret immersing myself in this experience, as it taught me valuable lessons, and the opportunity to return to competition was a real pleasure for me,” said matHEND.

This is not the first change in the lineup of HEET over the past month. At first, a scandal erupted around the organization related to money and non-fulfillment of obligations to the players. As a result, the team had to say goodbye to afro and bodyy. In addition, the latest rumors hinted at the departure of JACKZ, who will be replaced by the return of Lucky.

Currently, the French team is focusing on preparing for the open qualifiers for the RMR tournament, as well as participating in the ESL Challenger League Season 44: Europe.
