Valve has updated the rating of teams; G2 Esports returned to the first place in Europe

Valve has updated its rating of the best CS:GO teams. According to the results of the past two-week period, the G2 Esports team returned to the first line. In turn, the Danish team Heroic, which until that moment had been in the first position, dropped to fourth place.

Previously, Valve published a methodology for determining the rating of teams for qualifying for RMR tournaments.

As a reminder, this rating will be taken into account by the organizers when issuing invitations to closed qualifiers for the upcoming RMR tournaments. As the revamped qualifier system implies an increase in qualifier stages, the best teams will be rewarded for high achievements with direct tickets to the closed qualifiers.

In the American part of the ranking, there is a serious improvement for the Evil Geniuses team, which has risen to the fifth line, passing nine positions at once. In addition, in Europe, the Danish team Astralis made a jump, which climbed to tenth place.

The leader also changed in Asia, where the Chinese team Rare Atom displaced Lynn Vision from the first line. In turn, the Lynn Vision team fell to the third position, leaving behind IHC Esports.
