Nexus Gaming introduced the updated roster
Romanian esports organization Nexus Gaming has unveiled an updated CS:GO roster by signing contracts with smekk and MoDo. In addition, the club re-signed an agreement with adamS, who had already represented the club's colors last season.
After a period of adaptation where we struggled to find the perfect formula for Nexus Gaming, we are happy to announce the new line-up for the team. We want to say "welcome" to smek and MoDO, and a warm "welcome back" to adamS.
smekk and MoDo have spent the last two seasons with OneTap Gaming. Together they managed to win Painkillers Cup Season 2, SiGMA Esports Cup Dubai 2022, Superbattles 2022, European Pro League Season 1 and Jaxi League Balkan Series, as well as reach the finals of the Romanian Esports League Season 3, IESF World Championship 2021 and European Pro League Season 2.
In turn, adamS already played for Nexus Gaming last season, but left the team in September. Together with the team, the 21-year-old Romanian won ROPL Stars Fall 2022. However, then the young player tried his hand at Fnatic Rising, with whom he reached the finals of MistGames Heroes of Tomorrow Fall 2022. However, in early January, the British club disbanded the youth roster, thereby leaving adamS without a team.
Currently, the Romanian team is playing in the A1 Gaming League 2023 and Thunderpick Bitcoin Series #2, and is also fighting in the closed qualifiers for CCT North Europe Series #3. However, the organization has yet to find a new head coach, whose place was vacated in the process of the latest restructuring.
