trace ended cooperation with Astralis
The 33-year-old Danish trace specialist has announced the end of his contract with Astralis. On his Twitter, the former coach of the team announced his readiness to find a new team, which he will join as a free agent.
Free agent. Can't wait to get back to coaching! I have the luxury of taking my time and not rushing things - I have to find the best option for myself in the future, keeping an open mind in the process.
trace made a name for itself in 2021 when it won several TIER-2 championships with the Lyngby Vikings/ ECSTATIC. Already at the beginning of next year, the 33-year-old Danish specialist headed Astralis Talent, almost immediately taking third place in the WePlay Academy League Season 3.
However, in early spring, the organization started a reshuffle on the coaching bridge, as a result of which trace turned out to be the head coach of the club's main team. For the rest of the season, the 33-year-old Dane helped the team get into the top three at BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022, Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, Roobet Cup 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.
However, after the team's failure at the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A, the team decided to rethink their approach to training again, removing trace from the position of the head coach. The next post was casle, who works with Astralis to this day. In turn, the 33-year-old Danish specialist was inactive all this time, waiting for the end of the contract with the organization.
