Devilwalk is the new Bad News Eagles coach
The Kosovar Bad News Eagles have officially announced the addition of Devilwalk to the roster as the new head coach. In this role, the 31-year-old Swedish specialist replaced stikle-, who left his post in December last year.
I'm really happy to announce that I will be working with the Bad News Eagles for the foreseeable future. I had several offers, but working with such a talented team seems like the perfect fit for me. I think what they do on the server can be taken to new heights and I believe I can be the person to help them achieve new goals.
They have shown character and determination, and it's no surprise that fans love to watch their high intensity and skill.
It's really motivating and exciting to come back to the server and change something again. I hope you'll be rooting for the guys as we take our first steps on our new journey.
Devilwalk is a well-known former coach who, along with Fnatic, won ESL One: Katowice 2015 and DreamHack Open Tours 2015, as well as reached the finals of ESL One: Cologne 2014.
However, the last professional team in the Swedes' coaching career was FunPlus Phoenix. The 31-year-old specialist worked here back in 2021, having managed to win with the Snow Sweet Snow #1 team. Last season, Devilwalk tried to return to the scene with local band Savage, but the lineup soon disbanded.
In addition to his main profession, the Swede also performed at major championships as an analyst and commentator. In particular, last year he had a chance to work at PGL Major Antwerp 2022, Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022 and Elisa Masters Espoo 2022.
Devilwalk's debut at the helm of the Bad News Eagles will take place as part of the CCT South Europe Series #2 playoffs. In addition, the team will take part in the ESL Challenger League Season 44: Europe and the upcoming qualifiers for IEM Brazil 2023.
