FaZe Clan was the world leader for the longest time in 2022

The FaZe Clan team was the leader in the world ranking for the longest time in 2022 - the wards of RobbaN held the lead for 25 weeks, significantly overtaking their competitors.

Recall that FaZe Clan became the leader of the past season in terms of the total amount of prize money earned — $1,861,750.

This achievement is directly related to the success of the team in the first half of the season, when they won Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15, PGL Major Antwerp 2022, Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne and Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A.

Starting from the second week of April, FaZe Clan took over the Palm from NAVI to briefly lose the throne in July and August, but continue their dominance in September. However, the last time the team was at the top of the world rankings was in the last week of October, after which they lost their place to Team Vitality.

The second longest leader is the NAVI team, which, commanding the success of 2021, was in the lead for three months and the first week of April. Then "Born to Win" returned to the first line in July and in the last months of August, but in the autumn they noticeably slowed down to finish the year only at the sixth position.

On the third line with five weeks is the Danish team Heroic, which, after reaching the finals of Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 and winning BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, left for the New Year holidays as the leader of the world ranking.

Team Vitality held the top spot for three weeks, managing to take advantage of the decline in leaders in the fall and order victory at ESL Pro League Season 16. The fifth and last representative of the scene was the Outsiders team, which briefly climbed to the top spot after a sensational victory at the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022.
