FURIA Female earned more than Imperial Esports in 2022
The Dust2 portal provided interesting statistics, in which it presented the number of prize money earned in 2022 by the best teams in Brazil. As expected, the leader of the rating was the FURIA team, which became the strongest in its region not only in terms of results, but also in terms of the amount of prize money earned.
Last season, the team earned $321,500, with most of it coming from Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022, where FURIA reached the semi-finals.
PaiN Gaming came in second with $178,500 in prize money. Note that $50,000 of them were earned thanks to the victory at the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022 in September.
Next comes the MIBR team, which in 2022 earned a little less than the previous representative of Brazil - $177,961. Interestingly, the biggest contribution was made by winning the CCT Central Europe Series #1 online championship.
Fourth place unexpectedly went to FURIA Female. The FURIA all-female line-up performed well on their stage, earning $73,750. At the same time, the team reached the finals of ESL Impact League Season 1, ESL Impact Valencia 2022 and ESL Impact League Season 2, earning over $70,000.
According to this indicator, Imperial Esports remained only on the fifth line, having earned $72,690 for the season. The Brazilian team benefited the most with the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022 silver medals.
In this rating, it is impossible not to mention the Fluxo team, which, having gathered in August, managed to earn $66,000. In just over four months, the team managed to win three CCT South America tournaments, as well as BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2022.
The following teams also made it to the top 10: Los+oNe ($36,000), 00NATION ($33,500), GODSENT ($24,500) and SOJOGA ($19,000).
