Ugin spoke about leaving NAVI

Ugin, who is NaVi 's former CS:GO roster manager, spoke about leaving the organization. On his Instagram, the Belarusian noted that the discord in relations with the club occurred after the start of the coronavirus pandemic, which was superimposed on a number of personal experiences.

I didn't leave NAVI of my own accord. You can say this in different ways: this is how the circumstances developed, the time has come for me to move on, our paths have diverged, and so on. But to be open and honest, to take responsibility for what is happening to me, then the story goes like this.

When the hysteria around the coronavirus pandemic began, I set my life priorities not in favor of work, and, as a result, I could not fully fulfill the duties of a manager. The prioritization was influenced by my family circumstances and, probably, fatigue affected. Seven years in one place is a lot. At first, I was offered to try to develop a project for a new academy, but I approached this process from the wrong side. From October to December, we tried to find points of further common ground, but could not. In addition to this, ESL requirements for academies have changed, this fact has also made its own adjustment.

In January, we phoned Zhenya Zolotarev, and I heard that no further work was foreseen. At that moment, I was most not up to this decision, since it was on that day that I buried my mother. This is where my story with NAVI ended.

Recall that Ugin worked as a manager of the NAVI CS:GO roster for eight years - from 2012 to 2020. At the end of 2020, he moved to one of the leadership roles in the organization, but left the Born to Win a few months later.

It should be noted that Ugin currently works as the head of the esports direction in the Ukrainian organization B8 Esports.
