GuardiaN becomes a free agent

Czech esports organization Team Sampi has announced its parting ways with GuardiaN. Recall that the 31-year-old Slovak sniper was the ideological inspirer of the composition, assembled back in May, but left the team in September due to health problems.

We have come to a general agreement with GuardiaN that although his health has improved, he will not return to the team. This, unfortunately, means that our paths diverge. Thank you for everything and we wish you good health and someday back to competition. Once you become part of the Team Sampi family, you will forever remain part of our family.

The health condition of the Slovak is reported to have improved. However, by mutual agreement, it was decided to terminate the contract and release the legendary sniper from the organization. However, the esportsman himself has not yet commented on his future.

GuardiaN is the most famous representative of Slovakia in the last decade. Having become famous thanks to his performances for the NAVI team, the 31-year-old sniper managed to win many championships, including Intel Extreme Masters X - San Jose and ESL One: New York 2016.

Moreover, GuardiaN managed to spend several years as part of FaZe Clan, where he added an extensive collection of trophies with victories at EPICENTER 2018, Esports Championship Series Season 4 - Finals and ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017, among others.

For the last six months of his career, the Slovak played for Team Sampi, which he assembled in the spring of 2022. Here GuardiaN managed to win silver medals at the Tipsport Online Cup 2022, as well as play in open qualifiers for IEM Road to Rio 2022: European RMR. However, at the end of September, the club announced the departure of the veteran from the starting lineup, as he needed time to recover.
