Fresh update fixes bugs on Anubis and reworks B site on Ancient
On the night of December 16-17, 2022, Valve released a fresh update for CS:GO, in which they fixed critical bugs on the Anubis map, and also reworked B site on Ancient. In particular, the developers opened up a place to install C4 on the Ancient map, adding more visibility and options for the attack side.
Anubis map fixes
- Fixed some places near the canal where weapons could fall through the ground
- Fixed a spot near the fountain at A bombsite where grenades would fall through the ground
- Fixed model surface properties to prevent bullet penetration
- Adjusted the interaction of grenades with textures throughout the map
- Adjusted player interaction with textures across the map
- Reduced the size of the "border" in the center of the map
- Added collision for signs
- Closed various pixel gaps
- Minor optimizations
Note that after adding the map to the competitive pool, many players found bugs that affected the game and created many problems for interacting with the map. In particular, players were unable to throw away grenades when entering Bombsite B due to invisible textures.
Changes on the map Ancient
- Increased bomb damage radius from 500 to 650
- Flattened "cubes" in the red house in the center of the map
- Spawn locations for SWAT players have been shifted by 256 units, which will increase the previous timings by approximately 1 second
- Compressed the objects on point B to create longer lines of sight and provide more room to move

The developers also paid attention to other maps, making changes to Boyard and Chalice.
Map ChangesBoyard
- Fixed various texture interaction issues
- Fixed unstable walls at the T-shaped entrance
- Removed traffic cone at bomb site
- Added bucket to haven to block line of sight
- "May contain nuts"
Chalice Map Changes
- Missing navigation enabled
- Vulnerabilities fixed
