Filip 'NEO' Kubski leaves FaZe Clan — GruBy to serve as interim coach
Filip 'NEO' Kubski has stepped down as the head coach of FaZe Clan. The organization announced the change on its page on X, thanking the legendary Polish player for his contribution to the team. Kubski joined FaZe at the end of 2023 and helped the roster navigate a period of lineup changes, but the two sides have now decided to part ways.
During his time with FaZe, NEO experienced both major highs and challenging moments alongside the team. Under his leadership, the squad secured several significant titles:
Titles:
- Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023
- CS Asia Championships 2023
- Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024
Runner-up finishes:
- BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023
- BLAST Premier: World Final 2023
- Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2024
- PGL Major Copenhagen 2024
- Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024
- StarLadder Budapest Major 2025
These results confirmed that the team remained among the world’s strongest throughout Kubski’s tenure as head coach.
The organization also announced that the team’s analyst, Dominik 'GruBy' Świderski, will temporarily take over coaching duties. He will lead FaZe at the upcoming BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026, which begins on Wednesday, March 18. For Świderski, this will be the first opportunity to prove himself as a head coach at a major international event.
