Official: tacitus steps down as co-coach at FURIA
tacitus has officially announced his resignation as FURIA 's co-coach. The 23-year-old Brazilian specialist announced this on social networks, adding that he intends to find a job as a head coach.
I am here to confirm that as of today I am no longer part of FURIA. For the past year and a half, I have kept my full focus on the current job, putting all my energy into collaborating to achieve the team's goals, as well as focusing on developing as a person and as a professional, distancing myself from you guys many times because of it. It was a very rich and enjoyable period in which I collected memories and lessons that I will keep for the rest of my life.
It's funny to think that two years ago I was in my bedroom at my parents' house playing online tournaments starting my coaching career and soon after that the key turned completely. I had the opportunity to visit many cities, almost ten countries, take part in the world's largest tournaments and work side by side with the guys I watched on the streams. For this, many thanks to FURIA for the opportunity (especially Jaime and Guerri).
The pressure and responsibility of working for one of the best teams in the world and the best team in America during 2021-2022 was extraordinary. You are all incredible and thank you so much for making FURIA such a special place.
I am now an unrestricted free agent, open to offers from teams. I will pay more attention to the role of head coach, but I really want to integrate into the coaching staff and into other roles.
tacitus joined the FURIA coaching staff in the summer of 2020. For two and a half years, the 23-year-old Brazilian specialist helped the Brazilian team achieve significant success and lead to victories at DreamHack Open Summer 2020: North America, ESL Pro League Season 12: North America, Intel Extreme Masters XV - New York Online: North America, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: North America and PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR.
In addition, under his leadership, FURIA reached the quarterfinals at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
Currently, the Brazilian team is going through a period of calm, as FURIA does not take part in the final championship from BLAST. Probably, the team will appear on the stage only at the annual tournament in Katowice.
