XTQZZZ explained the reasons for leaving G2 Esports
XTQZZZ, former coach of G2 Esports, revealed the real reasons for leaving the European club. In one of the recent broadcasts, the 33-year-old French specialist shed light on the troubles that pushed him to say goodbye to the organization.
My goal was to adapt to a team that had a bad experience with the previous coach. A month later, I realized that everything needed to be redone. In the middle of the year, I told the club that if our approach to work does not change, then I will leave. I felt useless and unable to influence anything.
The team had only bad results, so I had to take responsibility. I have not been happy these ten months. Didn't want to be a coward. Previously, I saw many times how people stayed at work just for the sake of a salary, but did nothing. I definitely wanted to leave and stay with my convictions.
Recall that XTQZZZ headed G2 Esports at the beginning of 2022. In ten months, the 33-year-old French specialist helped the team get into the top three at Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16.
However, most recently the team failed at the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A, which was probably the last straw of the coach's patience. Swani will lead G2 Esports in the upcoming championships.
