B8 Esports says goodbye to Hkta
The Ukrainian esports organization B8 Esports has announced changes in its CS:GO roster, saying goodbye to Hkta. Note that the 22-year-old Ukrainian player has been the captain of the team since the formation of the squad last summer.
Hkta is looking for a new team. About a year ago we entered CS:GO with a very young team, where Hkta was the captain. It was a difficult journey that eventually led the team to the RMR tournament in Malta - a huge achievement for the team that would not have been possible without Nikita.
Hkta joined B8 Esports last August when the Ukrainian club signed the former Marlian eSports roster. Over the past year, the 22-year-old Ukrainian helped the team win Gameinside.ua ROG Winter Cup 2021 and ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Spring 2022 #5, as well as get into the TOP-3 following the results of ESEA Season 38: Main Division - Europe, UPEA Ukrainian Championship 2021, UESF Ukrainian Super Cup 2021 and Esport Tour 2022: Series #2, among others.
Well, the main achievement of Hkta as the captain of B8 Esports is the recent participation in the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A. At the same time, the Ukrainian team stopped one step away from entering the major, losing in the fifth round to GamerLegion with a score of 0:2.
It is not clear why the parties decided to disperse. However, now the Ukrainian organization will have to find the fifth player who will lead the team in the next championships.
