Enthusiasts have discovered references to Source 2 for CS:GO after the release of the Battle Pass
Tonight, Valve released the long-awaited Battle Pass for Dota 2 on the eve of The International 2022. Dataminers immediately went to study the new update, from which new details of a possible transition of CS:GO to the Source 2 engine followed.
From the data provided by user Game Follower, it's worth noting that Source 2 supports new skyboxes for an unnamed FPS game. It will probably be CS:GO. Support for RTX technology is also expected, which developers can use for realistic lighting and reflections. The first rumors that Source 2 will work with new technologies appeared at the beginning of last year.
Earlier, we already wrote that the creators of the maps are already working on updated versions of the locations that everyone loves, in particular Cache.
