SunPayus: "I expect to keep improving, gaining experience and enjoying the moment"

The Spanish esportsman SunPayus, who just recently joined ENCE, shared his impressions of the training and talked about his plans for the future of his team. During a conversation with representatives of the HLTV portal, the Spanish player discussed the process of moving to a new club, and also assessed the expectations from playing in a new environment.

My first impression is this: we are a new team. It's hard to make two lineup changes and think it's the same. valde and I have to adapt to the team, but they also have to adapt a bit to our style. We treat many situations equally, we just need to play a little more together so that everyone is on the same wavelength, and everything will go by itself.

The 23-year-old sniper also talked about adapting to the international team and the difficulties he had to face.

Everything is going well, at first it's difficult because you get into a new environment and you listen to all the voices at the same time, but I adapt well. I think in a few weeks everything will be perfect. My personality helps us laugh and have fun even if we're from different cultures, although I don't really see much cultural differences in general.

During the conversation, SunPayus shared his expectations for his game and team performances in the second half of the season.

I expect that I will continue to improve, gain experience and enjoy the moment, and I hope that the team will grow with me. I think we can add something different, bring something extra to the team and I hope we can win important tournaments.

The Spanish esportsman also told why he decided to leave Movistar Riders, despite the team's excellent results.

It was a very difficult decision for me, but this year ENCE has achieved really good results, reaching three finals. They are also partners with ESL and finished in the top 4 at the last major so I just saw this as a very good opportunity to continue to develop as a player and as a person as I always wanted to see how I would play in an international team.

Recall that SunPayus joined ENCE in mid-August. The 23-year-old Spaniard spent the last season with Movistar Riders, with whom he managed to win the ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022, as well as reach the semi-finals of the Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne and Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022.

The next championship for ENCE will be ESL Pro League Season 16, which will start at the end of August. The European team got into group C, where Heroic, HEET, MOUZ, Astralis and Complexity will also perform.
