SteelSeries Announces FaZe Clan CS:GO Exhibition Tournament

The well-known manufacturer of audio equipment SteelSeries has announced an exhibition tournament in the CS:GO discipline with the participation of FaZe Clan and OG. The championship itself will take place on Saturday, August 13, and will be broadcast on the company's channel on the Twitch site. The last, fourth participant of the competition will be announced by the organizers in the near future.

At the moment, only three confirmed teams have been invited to the event: Tricked, OG and FaZe Clan. The SteelSeries Nova Invitational will be the first appearance of these teams in the second half of the 2022 season, and will be degster's official debut for Team OG after a prolific stand-in run at BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022.

Recall that last year SteelSeries organized and held the SteelSeries Invitational. The championship took place on February 2 with the participation of FaZe Clan, OG, FALKN and Nordavind. The upcoming championship is expected to retain the format of its predecessors and offer participants a single elimination bracket with matches in BO3 format, as well as a prize pool of $10,000.

It's safe to say that the SteelSeries Invitational will be the starting point for FaZe Clan and OG before the competition resumes. While the world leader is preparing for BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, OG, on the contrary, has yet to debut in the open qualifiers for the European RMR tournament.
