sdy will remain in NAVI until IEM Rio Major 2022
The Ukrainian eSports organization NaVi has approved the final CS:GO roster for the upcoming championships. As a result, sdy, who has been a stand-in in recent months, will continue to play for the Born to Win until IEM Rio Major 2022.
Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev will play as part of NAVI CS:GO at three upcoming tournaments: BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, ESL Pro League Season 16 and IEM Rio Major 2022, the first stage of which will be the European RMR championship. Further decisions about the fate of sdy in the team will be made based on the team's performance in the upcoming tournaments.
sdy became part of NAVI in June 2022, moving to the team as a stand-in. In a month and a half, a 25-year-old Ukrainian player helped the team win BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, as well as reach the finals of Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.
The nearest championship for the Born to Win will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, after which the team will start preparing for the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.
Dates of upcoming NAVI CS:GO tournaments:
- BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 - from August 19 to 28
- ESL Pro League Season 16 - from August 31 to October 2
- IEM Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B - October 2022
It is reported that the further fate of sdy in NAVI will be decided by the results of the team's performance in the upcoming tournaments. Probably, no changes in the team before the end of the RMR tournament and, with a good combination of circumstances, before the start of the Major, should not be expected.
The NAVI roster for the upcoming championships is as follows:
- s1mple
- electroNic
- perfecto
- b1t
- sdy
- B1ad3 (head coach)
