Rumor: jks will join G2 Esports
According to several authoritative sources, including the neL insider and the Dexerto portal, the European esports organization G2 Esports is closing a deal to transfer jks from Complexity Gaming. The newcomer will replace JACKZ, who is preparing to leave the club in the coming days. Recall that the amount of the redemption of the 26-year-old Australian was estimated at $200,000, while the player himself spent almost a whole year without competition.
jks made a name for himself a few years ago when he reached the semi-finals of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 with Renegades. Later, the 26-year-old player spent a year under the wing of 100 Thieves, reaching the final at Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Beijing.
In the future, the Australian joined Complexity Gaming, but it was here that jks actually buried his career. As a result, the esportsman managed to win BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021 and Spring Sweet Spring #3 in a year, until the club disbanded the roster in the fall. The 26-year-old hasn't been on the scene since that time, until in February he wore a FaZe Clan jersey and helped the team lift the Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice trophy.
However, bypassing all the rumors, jks continued to explore options to settle on G2 Esports.
In turn, G2 Esports will continue to look for a captain. On the pencil, the club has several options, but the most likely one is ALEX. At the same time, the organization has a few days to submit the final line-up for the next tournament.
The next championship for the European team will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, which will be held from August 19 to 28. Then the team will start its journey within the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16.
The possible composition of G2 Esports in the CS:GO discipline is as follows:
- huNter-
- NiKo
- m0NESY
- jks
- XTQZZZ (coach)
- Aleksib (inactive)
- JACKZ (inactive)
