Aleksib is looking for a new team. G2 Esports decided to replace him

G2 Esports team captain Aleksi 'Aleksib' Virolainen took to his Twitter account to start looking for new opportunities as his partnership with G2 comes to an end. The management of the organization will look for new e-sportsmen who will take the place of Virolainen.

The Finnish player joined G2 on January 23 this year. In seven months, he managed to play in several major championships, including BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, IEM Katowice 2022, ESL Pro LEague Season 15, PGL Major Antwerp 2022 European RMR B, PGL Major Antwerp 2022, IEM Dallas 2022, BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022. In all of them, the team performed unsatisfactorily, with the exception of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022 and IEM Katowice 2022. In the first of them, the team took 3rd-4th place and received a reward of $40,000, and in the second, they became a silver medalist and earned a prize of $180,000.
