CS:GO released a small update with work on maps

On the night of July 12-13, 2022, Valve released a fresh update for CS:GO. As part of their latest work, the developers paid attention to the refinement of the Ember and Hive maps, as well as made a number of other changes to the gameplay.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a bug related to the display of information on the kill panel.
  • Fixed a rare bug related to choosing a map in Premier mode, when some players were disconnected during the map selection.
  • Updated version of “low violence” skin “R8 Revolver {{Crazy 8".

Ember Map

  • Added ancient cannons.
  • Now you can easily climb onto the roof of the docks.
  • The reconstruction of the house near the industrial zone has begun.
  • Weapons can now spawn on top of docks.
  • Weapons will no longer appear above the stone tunnel near the observatory.
  • Added spawning of weapons in the dock building, hospital and industrial area.
  • Removed map part names when using ping tags.
  • Improved clipping in the tourist area.
  • Other minor changes.

Hive Map

  • Reworked handrails to prevent being able to shoot each other while showing only your head.
  • Removed train horn sound at bomb site.
  • Made the area around the statue in the center of the map slightly brighter.
