CS:GO released a small update with work on maps
On the night of July 12-13, 2022, Valve released a fresh update for CS:GO. As part of their latest work, the developers paid attention to the refinement of the Ember and Hive maps, as well as made a number of other changes to the gameplay.
Miscellaneous
- Fixed a bug related to the display of information on the kill panel.
- Fixed a rare bug related to choosing a map in Premier mode, when some players were disconnected during the map selection.
- Updated version of “low violence” skin “R8 Revolver {{Crazy 8".
Ember Map
- Added ancient cannons.
- Now you can easily climb onto the roof of the docks.
- The reconstruction of the house near the industrial zone has begun.
- Weapons can now spawn on top of docks.
- Weapons will no longer appear above the stone tunnel near the observatory.
- Added spawning of weapons in the dock building, hospital and industrial area.
- Removed map part names when using ping tags.
- Improved clipping in the tourist area.
- Other minor changes.
Hive Map
- Reworked handrails to prevent being able to shoot each other while showing only your head.
- Removed train horn sound at bomb site.
- Made the area around the statue in the center of the map slightly brighter.
