MAJ3R and paz may join Eternal Fire
According to our information, serious changes are coming in the Turkish eSports club Eternal Fire. After being eliminated from the starting roster of Calyx, the organization intends to part ways with xfl0ud in order to sign Turkish competitive scene legends MAJ3R and paz.
MAJ3R and paz are considered to be the progenitors of the Turkish scene. Playing for the Space Soldiers team, the duo became the champion of WESG 2016 Middle East & Africa Finals, ESEA Season 25: Global Challenge, Europe Minor Championship - Boston 2018 and DreamHack Open Austin 2018, and also took second place at the World Electronic Sports Games 2017.
After spending the last part of their CS:GO career with Sangal Esports, MAJ3R and paz moved to the VALORANT discipline. However, during their performance with the Digital Athletics team, they failed to achieve success in the new discipline, failing both qualifications at VRL 2022 Turkey: Birlik Stage 2.
Now the experienced duo are set to return to CS:GO to help some of their former Space Soldiers teammates. Both players are already training with Eternal Fire, replacing xfl0ud and Calyx.
Recall that the day before, the Eternal Fire organization announced changes in the CS:GO roster, parting ways with Calyx.
The nearest championship for Eternal Fire is ESL Pro League Season 16, which will start at the end of August. By this time, the organization should decide on the final composition for the second half of the season.
A possible CS:GO Eternal Fire roster is as follows:
- XANTARES
- woxic
- imoRR
- MAJ3R
- paz
- bishop (coach)
