Calyx leaves Eternal Fire
Turkish esports organization Eternal Fire has announced changes to its CS:GO roster, parting ways with Calyx. The 23-year-old Turkish player has been a part of the team since its formation in August last year.
All good things must come to an end sometime. We thank you for fighting with us, shoulder to shoulder, to this day and wish you success in your future career.
Calyx joined Eternal Fire last summer, having moved from the GORILLAZ camp. Together with the Turkish team, the 23-year-old player managed to win ESL Türkiye Şampiyonası: Summer 2021, ESA Esports Supremes Spring 2022, ESL Türkiye Şampiyonası: Winter 2022 and ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, as well as get into the top three at REPUBLEAGUE Season 2, Exeedme Revolution 2021, TWR Eastern European Masters: Spring 2022 and Pinnacle Cup IV.
In addition, together with the Calyx team, he took part in PGL Major Antwerp 2022, where he took 20-22nd place. However, poor results, as well as a constant change of roles, did not allow the Turkish team to take a qualitative step in its development.
The next championship for Eternal Fire is ESL Pro League Season 16, which will start at the end of August.
From now on, the composition of Eternal Fire by CS:GO is as follows:
- XANTARES
- woxic
- imoRR
- xfl0ud
- bishop (coach)
