Gucci Gaming Academy will be open to all players based in Europe and North America. In the future, the program will be expanded to other regions.

The Gucci Gaming Academy was reportedly developed by Gucci and FACEIT in conjunction with some of the world's leading mental and physical health organizations and lawyers to ensure that every element of the curriculum is informed by experts. The program will provide young esports players with access to individual and group mental health support through Mindwork, which has experience working with Generation Z and professional esports athletes. Leading talent agency in the esports industry, Prodigy, and independent lawyer Billy Jenks are also involved in training players on brand building and legal advocacy.

The first players of Gucci Gaming Academy were mwlky, EspiranTo, DGL and shadiy.

Created by Gucci and FACEIT, the program is designed to support and develop up-and-coming gaming talent and accelerate their path to professionalism. Starting with CS:GO, the best young players will be manually selected from the FPL, FPL Challenger and FACEIT matchmaking system.

Players will receive ongoing coaching, mental health support, world-class equipment, and access to many other programs that help improve performance and well-being in the game. The Gucci Gaming Academy program will focus on supporting new players and giving them the opportunity to join a professional team.
