Apeks introduced the updated composition of the academy
The Norwegian esports organization Apeks has presented the updated roster of the academy, which will perform at the upcoming WePlay Academy League Season 4. First of all, the club announced the parting with Shyyne and H0land, signing professional contracts with Tapewaare, berzerk, Brave and vHw along the way.
After careful consideration and countless demos, we have decided to sign four new players. This means we unfortunately have to say goodbye to Shyyne and H0land. We wish them both the best and we are sure they will find a new home soon.
We make long-term plans, and talent doesn't grow overnight. The results won't come tomorrow but over time we hope we can become one of the dominant teams in Norway and then challenge some of the teams in Europe.
Responsible for experience in the new Apeks Rebels roster will be vHw, who previously represented the colors of Nordavind Talent and 00Prospects. He will be accompanied by Tapewaare and berzerk, who previously played for Bitfix and Foxed Gaming, respectively. The latest addition to the team is Brave, who spent the last months as part of VOID.
WePlay Academy League Season 4 will be held online from May 24 to June 26. Fourteen youth teams will compete for a $100,000 prize pool. Recall that the three-time WePlay Academy League champion is the MOUZ NXT team. The Norwegian team will perform in the same group with Astralis Talent, BIG Academy, NAVI Junior, Young Ninjas and FURIA Academy.
The updated Apeks Rebels roster is as follows:
- sense.
- vHw.
- Tapewaare.
- bezerk.
- Brave.
- mithR (coach).
